The New Zealand Embassy retained DNC Architects to renovate the existing Embassy building and site. The public area design was sensitive to the original design by New Zealand Architect, Sir Miles Warren, while providing a bright and secure contemporary environment.
Renovation was completed as a result of analysis of the following areas of immediate concern: Visitor entrance (architectural and security upgrades), Accessible Restroom accommodations for visitors and staff, and Main Entrance accessibility. DNC also provided interior design services that included the public area aesthetic renovations and furnishing.
Many people & visitors have been through the embassy, after seeing the change, they are amazed at the Transformation. Visitors commented that it was good before, but it is amazing now. DNC worked minimal direction, basing the design concepts on some color palettes of New Zealand Standards, and Books with “Stunning Results” creating a “Place to be Proud Of.”
