BARBARA ALDRIDGE, RA, Tenant Design, Architect

Ms. Aldridge started with DNC Architects in 1984. She worked in the DNC architectural and interior design departments for 6 years with the firm then left to start a family and worked in residential architecture from her home. She has now returned to DNC with a total of 27 years experience in commercial and residential design. Ms. Aldridge has a track record of consistently delivering quality architectural and interior design services to clients. Project history ranges from tenant design, coordination of architectural and engineering drawings, commercial office space planning, and residential additions and renovations. Her experience includes working with large and small construction companies, architectural firms, engineers and manufacturers. Ms. Aldridge holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Interior Design from The University of Maryland and has been a registered architect in the State of Maryland since 1989.

STEVE BELL, AIA, Project Director / Project Architect

During his 28 years of interior and architectural practice, Mr. Bell has been engaged in the planning, design, administration and management of a wide variety of projects. His areas of expertise include space planning, project design, coordination, strategic planning, critical path scheduling, building code interpretation, budget estimating, construction documentation, field administration, and building permit expediting and review questions with local jurisdictions. Registered in the District of Columbia he holds a Master of Architecture Degree and a Bachelor of Science in Design Degree from The Catholic University of America.

ANTHONY CONSOLI, AIA, Project Architect/Senior Designer

During his 23 years of practice, Mr. Consoli has been responsible for the design, planning and management of a wide range of facilities, including laboratories, corporate, hospitality, retail and renovation projects. His expertise ranges from conceptual design through construction documentation and construction administration, with particular strengths in design development efforts. Mr. Consoli has also helped spearhead several of DNC's QC, Professional Development and marketing activities. Registered in Washington D.C. and Maryland, he also holds a Master of Architecture Degree from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture and Urban Planning from Princeton University.

MARGARET DALEY, Comptroller

Since joining DNC in 1974, Ms. Daley has become the backbone of operations. She handles the Financial, Administrative and Human Resource functions for the company.

ANTHONY FIORE, Quality Control Reviewer

During more than 30 years of practice, Mr. Fiore has been responsible for the drafting and quality control review for a wide range of project types.  Through the years, Mr. Fiore has had the opportunity to be involved with commercial heavy-frame construction, speculative office building, corporate and governmental office buildings, and retail facilities.  As Draftsman/ Quality Control Reviewer, Mr. Fiore is responsible for the production of architectural drawings and performing a thorough review with documents released to insure Quality Control.  His particular areas of expertise include all aspects of construction documents, with particular focus on the most detailed aspects of the documentation including architectural detailing, sections and elevations and the review and identification of engineering and architectural inconsistencies.

JEF FULLER, AIA, Managing Principal and President

Since joining the firm in 1976, Mr. Fuller has been engaged in the planning, design, administration and management of a wide variety of projects. His areas of expertise include strategic planning, critical path scheduling, zoning and building code interpretations, budget estimates, site planning and quality control, and field administration. Registered with NCARB and in Maryland, Virginia, Delaware, Pennsylvania, Washington, D.C., Colorado, and West Virginia. Mr. Fuller is ultimately responsible for all of the Professional Services provided by DNC Architects, Inc. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Architecture Degree from the University of Virginia.

WALT LUECKE, AIA, Principal, Senior Project Architect

Since joining DNC Architects in 1964, Mr. Luecke has been responsible for project management, developing the details and producing the documents for a wide range of project types such as retail centers, warehouses, and the majority of corporate and major projects undertaken by DNC. In addition to document production, his areas of expertise include: code analysis, quality control, and construction contract administration. Registered in Washington, D.C., Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania, Delaware, and West Virginia he holds a Degree from the College of Liberal Arts at the University of Maryland and the College of Architecture at the University of New Mexico.

SUSAN SCHWARTZ MALAMUD, IIDA, Project Director / Senior Interior Designer

During her over 24 years of practice, Ms. Malamud has been responsible for the programming and design of over 4 million square feet of corporate office space. Her diverse experience includes design services for hospitality environments, government and law offices, corporate headquarters, educational environments and embassies, laboratories and banking facilities. Her areas of expertise include space programming, space planning, interior architectural design, finish selections and specification, and coordination of construction documentation. She also served as the President of the Washington D.C. Chapter of IIDA in 1992. Ms. Malamud holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Design from Drexel University and has maintained NCIDQ Certification since 1985.

 
SARAH MANDELL, Interior Designer

Ms. Mandell started with DNC in late 2005 and has brought a lot of energy and creativity to the firm. Her contributions to the DNC team include material and finish selections, color schematics, and furniture specifications. She also works with CADD documentation, resource management, and helps to maintain our extensive resource library. Sarah has a background in residential interiors and furniture design, with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Environmental Design from Maryland Institue College of Art.

 
ALAN MOUNT, AIA, Project Director/Design Architect

Mr. Mount brings to DNC Architects 30 years of experience in the design, production and construction of major investment office complexes and corporate headquarters facilities throughout the southeastern United States. Mr. Mount also has extensive experience in retail facilities including alterations and additions to regional shopping facilities as well as new construction of retail strip centers. Additionally, Mr. Mount has been involved in project management, a wide range of value engineering studies and the design of technically unique projects. Registered in the states of Maryland and Georgia, he holds a Bachelor of Architecture Degree from The Georgia Institute of Technology.

JOANNA ROTHROCK, Interior Designer

Ms. Rothrock joined DNC Architects in 2006 soon after completing her Bachelor’s of Fine Arts from The Art Institute of Washington in Interior Design. Joanna’s youth, energy and motivation adds a new dimension to DNC Architects. As an Interior Designer she is responsible for Construction Document preparation, material selections, and the DNC resource library, in addition to using AutoCAD as well as Photoshop.

DANNY RUPP, Designer

Mr. Rupp joined DNC in 2005 and immediately began to work with CAD Design as well as various 3d modeling programs, in addition to bringing his background in the fine arts into the design process. He also works with architectural specifications and design presentations. Danny holds a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Maryland at College Park.

 
 
TONY THAN, Project Architect

Mr. Than brings to each project a thorough understanding of architecture and construction, as well as extensive background in technical aspects of computer aided design and drafting. Mr. Than's areas of expertise involve architectural design, master planning, programming, construction design and detailing, and final coordination. Mr. Than's professional experience involves varied projects including high technology, retail, health care, and commercial office buildings. He holds a professional Bachelor of Architecture Degree from the Howard University.
