STEVE BELL, AIA, Project Architect

During his 28 years of interior and architectural practice, Mr. Bell has been engaged in the planning, design, administration and management of a wide variety of projects. His areas of expertise include space planning, project design, coordination, strategic planning, critical path scheduling, building code interpretation, budget estimating, construction documentation, field administration, and building permit expediting and review questions with local jurisdictions. Registered in the District of Columbia he holds a Master of Architecture Degree and a Bachelor of Science in Design Degree from The Catholic University of America.


ANTHONY CONSOLI, AIA, Project Architect/Senior Designer

During his 23 years of practice, Mr. Consoli has been responsible for the design, planning and management of a wide range of facilities, including laboratories, corporate, hospitality, retail and renovation projects. His expertise ranges from conceptual design through construction documentation and construction administration, with particular strengths in design development efforts. Mr. Consoli has also helped spearhead several of DNC's QC, Professional Development and marketing activities. Registered in Washington D.C. and Maryland, he also holds a Master of Architecture Degree from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture and Urban Planning from Princeton University.


MARGARET DALEY, Comptroller

Since joining DNC in 1974, Ms. Daley has become the backbone of operations. She handles the Financial, Administrative and Human Resource functions for the company.


JEF FULLER, AIA, Managing Principal and President

Since joining the firm in 1976, Mr. Fuller has been engaged in the planning, design, administration and management of a wide variety of projects. His areas of expertise include strategic planning, critical path scheduling, zoning and building code interpretations, budget estimates, site planning and quality control, and field administration. Registered with NCARB and in Maryland, Virginia, Delaware, Pennsylvania, Washington, D.C., Colorado, and West Virginia. Mr. Fuller is ultimately responsible for all of the Professional Services provided by DNC Architects, Inc. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Architecture Degree from the University of Virginia.

WALT LUECKE, AIA, Principal, Senior Project Architect

Since joining DNC Architects in 1964, Mr. Luecke has been responsible for project management, developing the details and producing the documents for a wide range of project types such as retail centers, warehouses, and the majority of corporate and major projects undertaken by DNC. In addition to document production, his areas of expertise include: code analysis, quality control, and construction contract administration. Registered in Washington, D.C., Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania, Delaware, and West Virginia he holds a Degree from the College of Liberal Arts at the University of Maryland and the College of Architecture at the University of New Mexico.


SUSAN SCHWARTZ MALAMUD, IIDA, Project Director / Senior Interior Designer

During her over 24 years of practice, Ms. Malamud has been responsible for the programming and design of over 4 million square feet of corporate office space. Her diverse experience includes design services for hospitality environments, government and law offices, corporate headquarters, educational environments and embassies, laboratories and banking facilities. Her areas of expertise include space programming, space planning, interior architectural design, finish selections and specification, and coordination of construction documentation. She also served as the President of the Washington D.C. Chapter of IIDA in 1992. Ms. Malamud holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Design from Drexel University and has maintained NCIDQ Certification since 1985.

 



TONY THAN, Job Captain

Mr. Than brings to each project a thorough understanding of architecture and construction, as well as extensive background in technical aspects of computer aided design and drafting. Mr. Than's areas of expertise involve architectural design, master planning, programming, construction design and detailing, and final coordination. Mr. Than's professional experience involves varied projects including high technology, retail, health care, and commercial office buildings. He holds a professional Bachelor of Architecture Degree from the Howard University.


JOANNA ROTHROCK, Interior Designer

Ms. Rothrock joined DNC Architects in 2006 soon after completing her Bachelor’s of Fine Arts from The Art Institute of Washington in Interior Design. Joanna’s; energy and motivation adds a new dimension to DNC Architects. As an Interior Designer she is responsible for; Space Planning, Construction Document preparation, material selections, and the DNC resource library, in addition to using AutoCAD as well as Photoshop.
