Digene R&D Manufacturing Facility
The two building, 90,000 square foot build to suit project, in Gaithersburg, Maryland was designed for Alexandria Real Estate Equities to consolidate Digene's R&D Manufacturing and Headquarter Operations into a flexible, state-of-the-art facility.

Boehringer Mannheim Pharmaceuticals Laboratory

Neuralstem
Neuralstem, Inc is a biotechnology facility in Gaithersburg, Maryland. The
first phase of this facility was the administrative area, which included the
Executive Offices; various administrative support departments, and support
functions. The Staff Lounge, shown here, was designed with unique features
such as a skylight, and playful patterning in the flooring to provide
employees with a positive work environment

SECURE FACILITIES
Having designed facilities for the: CIA, NSA, ACOE and many of the major DOD sub-contractors, DNC is very familiar with the requirements for electronic and physical security of buildings.
Town Center Reston I & II
Two 120,000 square foot office buildings designed by DNC for MGA to meet the needs of a secure program for GE Aerospace, these buildings were fit-up with data centers, SCIF's, and vaulted areas. Subsequently leased to a secure government agency, DNC provided design services for miscellaneous on-going renovations.

Shielding Patent
Required to design a secure work environment for a 500,000 square foot data and operations center, DNC developed a new approach to shielding and providing uninterrupted access into a shielded facility. DNC patented their concept and designed a facility that was proven effective, verifiable and far less costly than other available systems.

HIGH TECH BUILDINGS
| Vitro Laboratories
The two five-story buildings on this campus are flexible shells with large open-span floors. The project was value engineered to incorporate improvements, such as 6" raised flooring throughout and a full-service cafeteria. This facility won the AIA Honor Award of Excellence.

Hughes-Network DCC
Master planned as a series of buildings that could be developed along a pedestrian spine. The facility was designed to provide a means for quickly responding to growth or contractions within a volatile electronics’ industry.
