Located in the Rocky Gap State Park, Allegany County, Maryland, the music pavilion
is the permanent home for the Rocky Gap Country Music Festival now in it's 14th year.
The first phase of the project was the preparation of the site and infrastructure to accommodate 8,000 seats in a natural amphitheater on the shores of Lake Habeeb. In addition to the performance area the improvements included the creation of new "day use and recreation areas" that can be used by park patrons. During the festival these areas
are the site of the activities, food services, crafts, and displays.
Phase 2 included the design and development of a "permanent pavilion"
as well as support buildings for concessions and restrooms.

DNC Architects Inc. has assembled for this project the same consultant team that completed The Rocky Gap Lodge and Golf Resort in 1998.
